Sweet Neighbor Lady…OR MURDERER?

She was arrested earlier this month and discovered to be a convicted murderer who killed her husband and was sent to prison in 1972. She apparently escaped by scaling a barbed-wire fence and has avoided recapture until now.
An elderly neighbor of Darby’s has allegedly questioned the point of jailing a woman who has been crime-free for so long. But police, it seems, are still concerned with maintaining that little thing known as “criminal justice.
